This college ministry I know of is doing this survey, and I got the email, and I saw it posted on Facebook. And I ignored it. Then I saw it in my newsfeed again. It advertised being only one question to be answered. I thought, I might as well. I like to be helpful, here goes.
I arrive on the page, and sure enough, one question (followed by a large box to type in):
Jesus, I just want to say….
I sat in silence staring at the screen for a few moments, and then the thoughts started pouring…
Jesus, I just want to say that I miss you.
Jesus, I just want to say thank you for taking all of God’s wrath in my place.
Jesus, I just want to say that I’m sorry I forget so quickly the beauty of your redemption.
Jesus, I just want to say that I love you.
Jesus, I just want to say that I want to fall more madly in love with you.
